I don't like any of those shirts.

No, not even they 3 keyboard cats one (and yes I get the 3 wolf reference).

Amazon.com just bought woot. They're apparently leaving the company alone and independent for the most part, but I still can't help but feel an uncomfortable foreboding whenever huge companies get even bigger by gobbling up smaller competition.

Back when I gave a hoot about woot and tried my hand at designing a shirt or two, they had guidelines about using likenesses, where many entries got shut down for far less.

It all depends on what they use. Woot knows that certain companies will come after you for anything that's even remotely similar to what they're producing, and some companies are more lenient. I remember a Winnie the Pooh shirt getting shot down fairly quickly because Disney is on of the more aggressive companies.

Take a look back at the Apple killed Flash shirt (the first post in this thread). That's a pretty good likeness of both The Flash and Apple's logo.

As an aside: Although I've never really read anything about Green Lantern, for some reason I really like the concept behind his powers. Being that all I really know about them is that they aren't specifically defined, but are very versatile and utility based.

I'm beginning to think that PBR and Goodwill clothes are not a lifestyle choice, but a byproduct/consequence of buying $2000 MacBook Pros and $5000 guitars.

I second that. :ugeek:

Man, whoever said these woot shirts shrink after a washing wasn't lying. It totally shrank upwards too, so now every time I bend over I give everybody behind me a flash of the back rug. Caveat Emptor, tall guys...

Doesn't look zombieish enough. I probably wouldn't even have gotten it if you hadn't spoke up. Also, if I were wearing that shirt, and somebody came up to me and said they didn't get it and I was forced to reply by saying "zombeeeee" I would probably hang myself later that night.

It could probably use a "BRAINZZZZZ" caption.
