Probably should do an update.
Finished the Master Gundam a little while back. There are two decals that go on its wing/vernier things that I haven't put on yet because they're very superfluous. Otherwise, it's done and I'm generally happy with how it turned out, even if the plastic cement washing gave mixed results (which you can't tell from a casual glance at it, or even a somewhat detailed look).

Again reitterating that I really really really like how much more sturdier gluing parts together made this kit. Nothing falls off! Well, except for the wing/vernier things on the back that are heavy as fuck and either slip off or make the dude's torso lean backwards. It's a pretty glaring fault for this kit. But yeah, I wish I could go back and redo my other kits with glue now, because it's obnoxious when parts fall off of those. Moving on: Muh ZZ came in the mail!

I'm moving onto doing this one over the Hyaku Shiki and the Zeta because it's an older kit, and therefore should be shittier and not as big of a deal if I screw things up while experimenting with build techniques. And so far, I think that might be a mistake because holy crap this is a complicated as fuck kit. Look how many runners there are!

I counted like 22 different runners! By contrast, my Master Gundam only had like 12, and most of these runners are bigger than those. And this is going to be a BITCH to pose. Look how many fucking polycaps it comes with!

So far I've finished the head. Will post more later, but man this is going to take a while.

ZZ has one of the best mech-heads in all Gundam.
