It has nothing to do with cynicism. I'm sure most of those games would be fun. A cynic would be like "games these days blow, they're all terrible". I'm just so detached from gaming in general that nothing up there begins to float my boat, or I just don't know enough about them (it's hard to be excited about something you know nothing about). They've been doing this for a while, dummy. Last year Black Flag was a deal pack-in. The year before that, AC3 was. The year before that Revelations was. This is pretty standard. And honestly, smart.
