I would agree with this statement, except for me, sub out Murrow with Cronkite.
Journalism is a tricky profession, to put it lightly. With technology advancing quickly and print media going the way of the dinosaur, the world just wants the facts as quickly as possible, with lesser regard to accuracy. Feature-rich articles that are well written and thoroughly investigated are few and far between.
