So I wanted to know who you all think is the biggest sack of douche ever to be programmed. As per usual I'll probably end up reading some of these replies on The Average Player Podcast so if you don't want it to be read please put, NO, at the top of your post.

Patches the Hyena from Demon's Souls is the one asshole that sticks out the most.

Demons Souls is already hard enough, you get punished for every step you take. So when you come across an NPC it's a milestone moment that you earned, be it for better or worse. Patches is a milestone douche because he appears somewhat deep into dungeons (3-1 & 4-2 I think) where you have already fought your way through some seriously nerve racking shit, Patches always need "a hand" getting an item but as soon as you help him he traps you and then starts talking smack to you. On top of that he's tough as nails, so when you do catch back up to him he still beats the shit out of you. Fucking hate that guy.

Let's see... easy answer: The dog from Duck Hunt.

Slightly more inventive: The vampire from Final Fantasy Tactics... easily the hardest enemy in the game, especially if you're trying to steal all his Genji armor.

Would qualify if he wasn't such a bad-ass: Revolver Ocelot.

As always, the correct answer is from Metal Gear Solid; Fake-Colonel Campbell from MGS2, towards the end when it bugs you every three minutes and then later tells you that you're a horrible person if you offed even one person the entire game.
