I've been pestering Jim Lee and Geoff Johns for years about this game, and the other day, Jim tweeted "@RyanHigginsRyan: already got you covered" about having a friend try and get me a beta key at SDCC. :o

It would take literally the worst game ever made for me to not play the shit out of this. I'll be setting up a guild/team/whatever asap when the game launches, for anyone that wants to join.

There's no chance of me buying DCUO if I can't play it before I buy it.

I'm sure there will be a limited open beta before release.

Also man talk about prefferential treatment. If I open a comic store can I get into the beta?

You'd open a comic store so you can get into a beta a couple months before a game comes out?

You also have to befriend Geoff Johns, fly him up to your store, host a dinner and signing, give away a free sketch from Jim Lee to the CBLDF, harass him over MySpace and Twitter for 4 years, offer free consulting to both Wildstorm and SOE, be the very first to friend DCUO on their official MySpace page and be on their Top 10 friends list (until they moved to Facebook), talk with multiple people at SOE over e-mail about the game, and befriend Ryan Scott back when he was in high school who would one day be in a position to drop my name to people at SOE.

But other than that, it's easy.

I am in. It needs to have an awesome name though. Would we roll hero or villian? I love me some Batman and Green Lantern, but I wouldn't really mind kickin' their asses.

On a side note, I got to go to a Halloween party at Jim Lee's house, he had me to take shots of tequila with him. One of the best moments of my life.

A list of some of the Voice Actors for DCUO. I was pretty pleasantly surprised with VO cast so far. I really had a bit of a fear or thought they might phone that in, and just put bad VO in.

Getting Kevin Conroy for batman, Mark Hamil for the Joker alone impressed me.. Not to mention some of the other voice talent they got for it.. Totally surprised me, in a good way.

No, Batman was getting his ass handed to him by some random guy not nearly as strong as Superman, and then died because The Joker decided to shoot a rocket at him.
