EA's entire show was pretty embarassing and completely devoid of things that would be of interest to me.

Bethesda was better than EA. I'm excited for Quake

Bethesda didn't have as much cringe, but it wasn't a good presser. And it likewise contained very little that would personally interest me.

The Final Fantasy 15 stage demo during Xbox was like top 3 or maybe the actual worst live stage demos for a game I've ever seen.

The Scalebound demo might have actually been worse than FF15. I was not expecting that to be topped so soon.

MS presser was cringe-central. The scripting was so bad and the number of times they kept drilling buzzwords was nauseating. All their original games were boring rehashes of franchises they've run into the ground. xbones is a good step in the right direction, but no release date and no price you might as well just commit seppuku - nobody is going to buy an old xbone with a new one on the horizon, and who knows when that horizon will advent. FF15 demo was really bad and unfortunate because that game is amazing and they literally just showed the main character get BTFO for 3 minutes during a typical "survive this OP boss for X minutes/turns" scenario. AKA the worst boss fight in any RPG.

The GB guys offered a lot of insight about the Xbone Scorpio situation. Think of it this way, it's going to be a much more expensive, more powerful, and bigger model of the Xbox. So why would anybody want the "slim?" Why does anybody want an ipod nano, or a macbook air, or a non-plus iphone? It's a risky gamble, to me anyways, because consoles as a concept seem to be becoming dated, but I don't really see why a higher end, pricier model and a lower end, more budget conscious model can't coexist. Not everybody needs to have the most graphics or whatever. It's the same as low end graphics cards existing in the PC space too for that matter. Not everybody needs/wants to blow $600 on the latest Nvidia wankery when a $200 model card will still play everything, just not at ultra settings.

Sony fuckin' killed it, and it's hilarious to switch over to the giant bomb stream right after and hear them try to invent reasons to hate on them.

It was one of the better Sony pressers that I can think of. They turned God of War into Dark Souls. The had an orchestra on hand so I didn't have to watch a single game trailer with an edgy, brooding cover in it like practically every fucking trailer from the MS presser. That Horizon game still looks fucking amazing. What the FUCK was that Kojima game? I marked out hard during that when I saw Norman Reedus clutching his Norman Feetus. I dunno what the fuck that game is going to be, but that teaser was NEXT LEVEL hysterical, even by Jokima standards.

I just appreciated that they're getting over the bizarre insistence these companies seem to have on having boring awkward people talk at the camera/audience for too long, when really all I'm here for is to look at your games. And if you put together your trailers or game demos well enough, they can say soooo much more and convince me so much better than any corporate wanker could ever possibly hope to do.

Unless you go into Konami E3 hilarity territory that we saw a few years ago, where the whole thing becomes an unintentional parody of itself. But Microsoft would never debase themselves to holding their press conference in a high school gym, and bring out live luchadors to fight for the audience.

No, honestly it looks way way more ghetto than the first one. The first one was definitely ghetto, but it was relatively unambitious. This one looks like they tried really, really hard and whiffed BADLY.

I can't even pretend to care about anything that's not Nintendo anymore. I'll need to rewatch the Sony one when I can actually just watch it instead of half paying attention while working.

You can skip the presser and just watch the demo for Horizon. It's the best thing Sony has going for them.

I haven't cared about Zelda since Minish Cap but that's not stopping me from thinking about buying a Nintendo console to play this one.

Ya I meant to play that one day I just keep forgetting and now I kinda don't care. The top down Zeldas are the only ones I like but it's kind of a turn off that they rehashed Link to the Past since that's the least interesting one of those.
