Leprechaun Issue 3 pencils

Postby Kris Carter » Mar 18th, 2009 @ 1:19pm

Hey Fellow Geekbox listeners. I am the penciler of the upcoming Leprechaun comic that comes out in May(Shameless plug accomplished) and I have been drawing many of the pages of this series while listening to Mr. Scott's dulcet tones. Sitting at a drafting table for 12-16 hours a day listening to podcasts is the main reason why I haven't gone insane. Here are a few pages from issue 3 of the series, hope you dig em.

Nice stuff, Kris! Welcome to the forum, and thanks for sharing. I'm glad my friends and I are able to help keep those pencils movin'. :) Who are you collaborating with on this series?

The book is being published by BlueWater, overseen by Lionsgate Films, Written by Zachary Hunchar, Colored By Tom Torre, and Lettered by Jaymes Reed.

And to answer the most F.A.Q. no, no Jennifer Anniston. :)

What about the autistic dude who gets his ear bitten off? Or the "real milk chocolate, genius" guy? :P

Leprechaun was the first thing I saw Jennifer Aniston in; it's still the first thing I always associate her with. Well, that and not being able to stay the hell out of every issue of every tabloid in existence.

No Ear biting, that is played out, thanks for that TYSON! The cover to issue 2 does have Leprechaun biting someones toes off:) It is also the midget torture porn comic.

Beside the Leprechaun himself, the comic is a reboot, think horrific fantasy vs shlocky 80's horror.

Can't find a release date on the main website for these. When can I find them in stores? Will I have to special order them? I don't keep a pull list with my shop since I only go in once every few months unless I'm rolling in cash somehow.

Cool, never been to Canada, just got invited to be a guest at a show in Toronto this September. I'm looking forward to it.
