If you are interested, the name of the artist is Tyler Stout. You can find more stuff on his website at www.tstout.com

Let's be real here. If we're comparing all sci-fi from the 80's and not just talking about Robocop vs Total Recall, then Star Trek, or Star Wars, or Blade Runner all trounce these two.

And so we're clear, 80's sci-fi is still the best shit ever.

For me, my favorite 80's sci-fi is The Thing. It still holds up to this day.

I'm glad to see the 80s stuff still get love - but I know it's all nostalgia now. My kids wouldn't even sit through Willow, FFS.

Once I was in a elevator at a generic college leadership conference and I asked another guy there where he was from. He replied "Oh hi, Detroit," to this I responded "Ahh, RoboCop territory." My friend who was with me stared blankly and just about everyone else in the elevator didn't say a single thing for the rest of the ride.

Plus Robocop fights the Terminator in that one SNES game.

I'm only proud to be from Detroit because of Robocop (even though it was filmed in Dallas).
