The box in question was in last night's episode (which I haven't seen yet, but I saw the promo LiQuid was refering to), and it's not the toolbox McGarrett's dad left him. It's a cardboard box that they find at a crime scene. My guess is that it's Gwyneth Paltrow's head.

Oops, my bad. I thought LiQuid was referring to the toolbox.

Finally saw the head-in-a-box episode. They went a little too sappy with the illegal alien father trying to provide for his son and McGarrett going all soft for them.

Grace Park still looking hawt as ever, so that makes things ok.

The asian father was a lil to sappy. Show is pretty decent though. When they storm into a house with guns, they never find anyone there. The house is always ransacked and always empty.

The father getting citizenship was way too sappy. I don't know any model minority asian that would be smiling about getting citizenship.

Good episode this week. Wall-to-wall action and Grace Park kicking some ass. Hope they're all that good here on out.

Is it just me, or was Vanessa Minnillo not that attractive in this episode? Maybe it was the fact Nick Lachey was in the episode too, bringing her stock down.

Anyway, this week's show was kinda weak, hope it picks up.

I just had a feeling that, that girl was involved. No way would she be able to hide on the boat and not be found. I am getting tired of the "enhance this photo" bit. It was a crappy cell phone video that they were trying to enhance.

After a lengthy hiatus, the show comes back with a lackluster episode.

A convention attendee is thrown out a window and the team must discover why. Meanwhile, the CIA takes an interest in McGarrett and his parents' murders and Wo Fat makes his presence felt once again.

A promising start to the McGarrett/Wo Fat rivalry that made the original series so awesome, but I hope it keeps up.

Decent episode. This show looks nice in HD. Vibrant colors, makes me want to visit Hawaii.

Is it bad that the show's locations often remind me of Disney's Polynesian Resort?

They are all cast members you mean? How are the ratings on this show when the majority are asian actors? I hope Daniel Dae Kim gets more notorized for his role in this show than in LOST. The ending of LOST killed the series for me. I hate lost now.

Non-nerdy show tries to be nerdy for a little bit by name-dropping a few meaningless and misplaced nerd-words. Ugh.

'Rumor' has it that Grace Park may be leaving the cast come the end of this season.

http://tvguide.ca/TVNews/Articles/110414_park_off_hawaii_DW.htm

a 'female' cast member... Other then Grace Park's character theres the Governor? or Dudes ex wife? But apparently Grace is also doing a pilot for NBC so signs point to her.

Disappointing, she was my favorite
Prepare for trouble...

Yeah, if she leaves, I am done. I don't even see grace or daniel in the commercials. I guess america is not ready for asians in supporting roles.

Even though this is a remake of an identical tv show from decades ago with plenty of asians playing the same kinds of supporting roles.
