I'd watch a spin off show that's just The Adventures of Brienne and Pod

It had been far, far too long since we got a good Dany slay scene. So glad to see her back in top form. Westeros needs their mhysa badly.

Things haven't been working out too well for the Starks when they go to war but theres no way they brought back Jon Snow just to kill him again....right?

Depends on whether or not you subscribe to the theory that that was really Shaggydog.

I don't subscribe to theories. Trying to puzzle things out just spoils surprises.

Can't believe there was so much hype over the casting of Ian Mac and we got him for ONE marginal episode. Tits and dragons indeed.

There's some good theories out there that a certain character that was not supposed to be in the show could actually be in the show.

url has spoilers in it, so i tinyurl'd it, click at own risk http://tinyurl.com/j7e2enk

Yeah, that was a real disappointment.

Couldn't read the link, but since we're on the subject:
Spoiler: show
I'm actually curious if they're going to reveal that the Blackfish is actually following undead Catelyn. Especially with Brienne on her way there now, and how the two of them ended off in the books.

I honestly don't think I've ever been more giddy after watching an episode of Game of Thrones as I was after this week's when my OTP Beric + Hound became trubros.

Remember when GoT couldn't afford to show us a live battle?

God, that was the hardest thing to watch in this entire show. Absolutely incredible.

Happy everyone enjoyed the spectacle, which was impressive, but this show has turned from one that was proud of its ambiguity to some generic-ass heroic fantasy. Every time the Starks get a W I die a little inside.

I think my biggest problem was Arya winning last episode.

You're supposed to think, "Oh, she was blind, so she can fight blind, so she wins by fighting in the dark when The Waif can't." But The Waif was, like, a trained Faceless Man, and should also know how to fight blind so...

But yeah, little disappointed the things you expect to happen, are just what's happening. It's not like Littlefinger showing up was a surprise or anything. They set it up way ahead of time. Oh, a fleet is attacking Mareen? Well Dany and her dragons will probably burn the whole thing.

LiQuid wrote:Every time the Starks get a W I die a little inside.

Well, you can take solace that at least Rickon died. #lrn2serpentine

Season Finale:
Spoiler: show
Wow, they are just...pruning the shit out of that character tree tonight. Won't miss those church folks though.

Man, Arya got right to work.

I feel like they've really picked up the pace of travel in this series. It used to take people forever to get from one place to another, now people are just popping all over the world in no time at all. Varys was on two continents this week.

So, earlier in the series we had our Clash of Kings. I think we're coming up on a Clash of Queens here. Daenarys, Cersei and Sansa.

So at this point, I kinda want to make a prediction for the rest of the series.

Spoiler: show
It's called Song of Ice and Fire. So the ulimtate conflict seems like it's obviously going to be the White Walkers vs. the Dragons and various accompanying armies. Now, the obvious thing would be that the world of humans unites against the undead and fights them at the wall, but I don't think that's going to happen.

I think the North is ultimately going to fail to defend the Wall and is going to fall to the Walkers. With the Starks and co. actually ending fighting on that side(either just as Walkers, or as undead like Benjen).

Bro.
Spoiler: show
He showed up in Dorne this week, and then later in the same episode he was on a ship with Danys traveling out of Easteros right before the credits roll. Now, I can only assume there's a lot of time passing between shots in this episode. Or more tantalizing maybe he can do the face switcheroo and there's more than one Varys running around, but it's likely the former.
