Netflix shoes for the most part have been good so I'm hopeful on this. I mean it can't be any worse than how agents of shield started.

O RLY? How many of Netflix's 10 original shows can you name and/or have enjoyed? Just curious.

If that looks on point for Daredevil, then Daredevil is a shit character/franchise.

It also looks like it somehow has LESS of a budget than Arrow as well.

Nah, Frank Miller had a great run with the character, it's some of his best work.

Don't argue with kenzo about anything marvel related.

This show is from the Spartacus guy. It's going to be good...probably

I've watched to episode 2 so far. My main draw is that I enjoyed Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) performance in HBO's Boardwalk Empire. I am also watching it as a litmus test to see what sort of quality control Netflix/Disney are putting behind these partnered shows. I am wary of the critical tipping point for over saturation on the 'comic' genre media. Some of you guys can make a good argument that it is already here for the enthusiast crowd but locating that point for the mass market is what I am aiming for. A few bad turns and suddenly the multiyear grand movie/tv show plan starts to fall apart.

Finished the season. I liked it a lot. It's a little too serious at times but that's probably a good thing, it separates it from all the DC shows. I hope they make a Punisher series

I am most the way through the first season. I'd have finished it, if it weren't tax time grumble grumble. =P

I am really digging it. Gotta say, I hope he never gets a "real" costume, though I know he will. The stunt work has been really good for a TV show, limited jump cuts and not much shakey cam. The mostly one-shot fight scene at the end of the second episode was fantastic (And an homage to Oldboy?) The stunt work makes me very excited to see what they do with Iron Fist.

I would rather they not do a Punisher show, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see Frank Castle. If he showed up as an anti-hero antagonist/unreliable ally from time to time during a season of Daredevil (Or the other Netflix series) I think he'd work better than his own show.

I watched it all. It's really good, I guess. Very true to the comics. Was surprised by how violent it is. Much moreso than the Marvel movies.

It's definitely made on the cheap though. They show what Matt' "sees" once in the entire season for about 3 seconds. As opposed to constantly like they did in the movie.

It's just not what I like about the stuff in the MCU. It's too serious. Pretty much no humor at all. And aside from a few aside references to when New York got smashed, absolutely nothing in the way of connections to the rest of the MCU. No character cameos. Not even, like, a stinger at the end of the series to tease the next series.

Was Madam Gao supposed to be from K'un L'un?

I know that Nobu's people were obviously supposed to be The Hand.

Almost done as I have been home sick with pink eye the last few days. This show is great. Definitely seems to be some filler episodes like Nelson v. Murdock, but the fights are amazing. Never was a huge fan of this side of the Marvel universe, but now I'm looking forward to these shows even more than the movies.

Just finished it. Loved it overall. Would have been better cut down to 10-11 episodes I think, but every scene with Kingpin is pure gold.

Spoiler: show
The heroin packets that Madame Gao was peddling were marked with the symbol of Steel Serpent, a nemesis of Iron Fist. If I were to hazard a guess, Madame Gao might be Crane Mother.
