This would make me pay more attention to this show (right now I only kind of half-watch it when mrstotoro is watching it).

LiQuid wrote:You really need to consider popular opinion on this show. Pam has a serious, and I mean SERIOUS legion of fan followers. For only being a side/unimportant character, she is one of the most popular characters in the show. Tara on the other hand is almost universally reviled (ed: so I see her dying much, much more likely if a main character does eat it). Since this is a show that feeds on fanboys/fangirls, the show will not pull a Game of Thrones and start killing off popular characters for the sake of storytelling. Especially when they're storytelling is already fucking balls nutty and retarded in the first place. This isn't a show about dramatic heft. There is no "art" in this show. This is a show that needs a fanbase and the second they kill off a popular character they are going to lose a large portion of that.

Oh wow, LiQuid! from weeks ago! You're so god damned smart! You need to get into writing trashy television shows. You would be so good at it!

Also, this episode: YESSSSSSSSSssssssssssssss

So much naked Jess. So much body count. So much DEAD FUCKING TARA! How long til season 5? Man this show is amazing. Other shows CAN FUCKING EAT IT!

I was LOLing pretty damned hard when Tara ate it in the face. The shitty part is, you just know that they're gonna bring her back. She's gonna get some vampire blood fed to her, or they're gonna use this as an excuse to turn her into a vampire. This show is so retarded that it's amazing.

The official HBO synopsis said something along the lines of "dead, lifeless body." She's way dead. The only caveat is that of fucking course this season they give Lafayette the ability to commune with the dead so it's pretty much guaranteed she'll be back in at the very least a guest starring role for some ridiculous deus ex machina in the future.

If there's one thing I love about this show, it's the writers willingness to completely fuck up its characters. I mean, holy shit the stuff Tara and Sookie have been through - a normal person would probably be sent to an insane asylum by now.

Spoiler: show
Tara returned. But now that she's a vampire, she should be in for even more torture and self-loathing, so this should be fabulous!

They also didn't do a very good job setting up a Big Bad. Is it gonna be that old, ugly, werewolf lady? After Marnie the show needs another great villain like Russel Edgington.

Werewolf lady is just a side distraction - old lady can't be a threat to nobody, and what'shisface is clearly the strongest werewolf. (btw - I LMAO'd pretty hard at the were-cannibals.) I think they're doing a great setup for a big bad - it's clearly either gonna be whatever this stupid "authority" is, they're bringin' back Russell, or some kind of Iraqi curse.

Dude, Eric's sis and the G-man guy driving in the car with Bill and Eric in the trunk while jamming out to Wings was SOOOOOO FUNNY! The show is becoming self aware but this is a rare instance where it's not even a bad thing!

Note how I blamed nobody this time?

Episode was fantastic, even though I knew most of the punchlines beforehand. It was that good!

I read an article last week or the week before in Entertainment Weekly, Meloni was speaking Aramaic. Just thought it was interesting.
