They have rubber bullets and beanbag shot. What I'm wondering is how you shoot 'bullets' with a shotgun.

Gun powder ignites, pushes a piece of plastic or cardboard forward which then propels your slug or pellets out of the barrel. So no, the gunpowder isn't directly propelling the bullet. It would actually be insanely easy to replace the buckshot in a shot gun shell with some sort of dense hardwood pellets. I'm not sure if they would be durable enough to actually break through skin and tissue, but at close range it wouldn't surprise me if they could.

I still can't get over Jason calling them "wooden bullets." God, that boy is functionally retarded.

And I know vamps are all out of the closet and shit, but is wooden buckshot just like standard issue munitions now for podunk-ass police forces?

Last season, Jason joined a fundamentalist Christian cult that was anti-vampires. He basically went through terrorist-training-camp and they issued him a bunch of vampire-killing weapons, including the wooden bullets.

I like Jason because he, like every other character, is an extreme version of a common personality. There a number of my friends I would describe as a manwhore who's dumb as a brick but has his heart in the right place.

He was down in Australia recently, some video from his being on Nova (a radio station here), on if True Blood is 'Vampire Porn' and the fans and conventions. His accent is really very Aussie, and yeah his accent on True Blood is pretty well done.

Damn, pretty good episode this week. Not nearly as good as the last few, but still good. Some pretty choice moments including:
Spoiler: show
-Tara receiving yet another awesome emotional blow
-LaFayette's drug-sequence
-The vampire king's psychosis
-Bill being pushed out of Jason's house

Merlotte acting crazy was pretty funny.
I don't think Eric is going to die, I think that other vampire is going to run out and save him and then she'll die.

*yawn*

The Anita Blake series (which this Sookie Stackhouse bullshit is a totally inferior ripoff of) has wererats, wereleopards, wereswans (I'm not even fucking kidding!!!) and more... Plus it has all kinds of sick ass necromancy and witchcraft, and later on in the series, fucked up, mystical, S&M sex rituals. Anita Blake would have made for such an entirely more retarded show than this tame crap. Too bad gay-ass Alan Ball couldn't find a way to turn it into some faggy anti-gay allegory, and have a bunch of gay dudes prancing around gaying on each other or else we might have seen that come to fruition.

well seeing that merlotte and his blood relatives are going between all sorts of dogs, moose/elk/whatever and birds and all that crap, i'm sure a swan is possible.

then again, i'm talking about the tv show since i've not read the books and never will. :p

I think they've established that the older a vampire is, the faster they cook. They'll probably save him since he's so popular, but I wouldn't put it against this series to see him dead for good.

Thats not a "wereswan". They are shapeshifters and can be any animal they see. A wereswan can only be a swan. And WTF! A wereswan thats fucking lame. The show gets stupider every episode and closer to gay porn. I like it and all, but sometimes its to much. The wereleopard was pretty lame I thought. There are bringing in to many different things.

Someone is afraid of their sexuality.

I would actually say, it's less gay-porn, and more porn directed towards women.

If you haven't watched Spartacus yet you need to make a reaction video of you watching it and upload it to youtube so the world can laugh.

Haha I have watched Spartacus and that was a great show. And I am fine with my sexuality and have nothing against gay people. And I have nothing against Lafayette, he is actually my favorite character. I just think they are making the gay relationship more, I don't know the word. But I guess it's the same thing they did with their sex scenes in the first season where you would have at least 2 ridiculous over the top scenes in each episode.

This is just my opinion of course. As well I find the voodoo/witchcraft thing with "V" retarded. Worst drug scene in a movie or TV show.

Well of course. But I own the complete series of both those shows, and have watched them many times. Joss Whedon should do a zombie TV show.
