Listening to it now, love the star trek talk. You guys should form a star trek group listeners can get into.

Also fitch, dragons age isn't really generic. Most fantasy works are generic. You can take pretty much anything fantasy and say its a ripoff. dragon age did enough for me to separate it from the title of generic fantasy; Elves are basically jewish people in 1930's-1040's europe, dwarves are dying out and make the bulk of profit through trading lyrium with the circle of the magi, instead of arms trading with humans. and mages are watched over and murdered at the slightest impulse by warriors that watch for any blood magic. Thats pretty cool. the ostagar cinematic is a little helms deep, but if you try to look for the fiction around dragon age it becomes alot more.

I love exercise! Four days a week. 2 days at the gym, 2 days at home. I don't even have a fancy home gym. Just the basics. Never tried the current fitness games, which seem to be all the craze, but I don't need them. Honestly, I think titles like Wii Fit or EA Sports Active are suited for older folks in nursing homes or physical therapy. I mean, It is possible for the average person to become more interested in tradition forms of exercise after fiddling with these games and in that regard they're a success. just not for me.

Anyway, like Fitch, I also dislike Dragon Age. I'm a fan of the old Icewind Dale games as well as Neverwinter Nights, but I haven't connected with DA. While Im not completely enamored by the game, I can still appreciate the aspects that separate it from other similar works of fiction, game or otherwise. I think Fitch was being a bit too reductive in his overview of DA. Comparing it with LotR is asinine and lazy, at this point. Is that what your published reviews are like?

Speed Racer isn't in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom because the character and series aren't owned or affiliated with the Tatsunoko company, right?

Capcom is gauging interest in a new VS fighting game based on sales of Tatsunoko vs Capcom, so everybody, please show your support!

Oh, and Mega Man Legends is a great game.

8 dates and no considered a girlfriend? Christ! Sorry bro, but man... man... ugh!
8 dates and not even considered a GF?! Shit. If that's the case, you going to be single forever. That's just depressing, the 5th date should at least be a 'meet the parents' or at least siblings encounter. You've done her a few times (3 date rule and all), across beds, furniture, kitchen benches; sometimes not even wiped it after, and you're primed to go, 8 dates... that's like a "babe, we been seein' eachother for a while and like, well... here's the key to my apartment" type thing. 8 dates, thats some serious shit, or you're tagging her along because she gives good head or something. (if so... good job!)
I met my future wife, went overseas together, got engaged, got married in the span of 2 months and 1 week. 1 month and 1 week of that was because that's the minimum time allowed by Australian Law for Marriages, otherwise it'd have been sooner. That was 3 years ago, we're halfway towards how long my mother and father lasted so yeah; shit worked out. (and they 'dated' for like 8 years prior).
8 dates, yeah... good luck! Your next 'kinda sorta, girl-like,' thing will be your hand. A man would be "on that" by the 3rd date.

My favorite things about Sherlocke Holmes:

1. Precision beat downs served by Holmes. A real shame it only happens twice in the film.
2. Downey Jr and Law.

Nothing else lived up to my expectations. I feel as though watching the sequel (which this film works through half it's running time to set up) is a necessity in order to fully judge or appreciate this new, modern Holmes. The missus loved it though.

So, Sherlocke Holmes was okay. It's certainly no Avatar, Possibly the greatest film ever made (in December 2009 - to be fair) I think if Fitch had taken his date to Avatar and faked a tear during the giant-falling-tree scene, he might actually get past a hug and handshake.

Karen....

I use to have Sirius back in the day when my job was to watch security cameras all day long. I actually went to such extents as buying some long ass cable and installing the receiver on the top of the 3 story building that I guarded to get better reception. I would also manually record songs from the receiver using a MinDisc Player. ( and the music that I would listen to on Sirius eventually got me into the dark world of underground hip hop and indie rock. And then I started to read Pitchfork. And then I became a douche music snob for like a year. But overall I had a good experience with Sirius but I didn't miss it after I got an iPod.

Oh yeah, Fuck pussy yoga.

There's really no need to wait on a big DVD set to start watching Lost. You can see it all for free on Hulu right now.

Sorry Rydog but I have to set the record straight. Megaman Legends was an amazing game that sold poorly because "hardcore" Megaman fans disregarded it for being 3D. Aside from not being a side-scroller it also didn't have selectable stages or Robot Masters so if you went in looking for a 3D Megaman experience(which is sort of the way it was sold) you would of been disappointed. But as far as pure quality goes it was pretty much the only good Megaman game being released at the time. X4 was fine but X5 was wasn't great and X6 was terrible. But these games kept coming out because they were "traditional" Megaman, never mind whether they sucked or not.

MML was a super well made game but it was pushed aside because it wasn't the same thing people expected. The game was a really intelligent mix of RPG, action, and exploration. It was pretty much a really good 3D Metroidvania. If it wasn't named Megaman then maybe it would of sold better, or maybe it would of sold even worse. But the fact of the matter is that it's a series of really high quality that ended in a cliff-hanger. The Megaman X series was suppose to end with X5(and then continue with Megaman Zero on the GBA) but they kept making those until X8. The Legends series can't even finish it's "original" story line but the X series is getting extended beyond what it was suppose to be. There is no justice.

I'm glade Fitch was there to make you second guess your statement. It's one of my favorite games ever so I hope you can understand why I had to write this post. It just disappoints me that Ryan was one of those Megatards who dismissed Legends so easily. How did Ryan work under the same roof that Jeremy Parish did? I'd think he would of strangled you if he heard you speak of Legends like that.

Unless you guys are 10 feet tall you would have to run to do 10 miles in 2 hours. Yesterday I jogged on the treadmill for 50 minutes at 4.6 speed and only did about 4 miles.

No, Speed Racer is not in the game because it is licensed out from Tatsunoko to a number of U.S. companies, including NOW comics, Warner Brothers, and Toynami.

Yeah, I'm wondering if he meant in kilometres there. That's around 6-ish miles which is what I do in about 2 hours.

FYI, Brock Landers was the name one of the characters Dirk Diggler played in the movie.

^Great South Park reference, (Higgins? Fitch?).

Also, (Higgins? Fitch?) you're a super nerd. Girlfriend - 1 day. MMO's and other games - 6 days.

I really don't know Fitch and Higgins apart. It's true.

Wow. Fitch, commitment issues much? Either that or you are one of the biggest squares I have ever heard speak. Seriously 8 dates, if you haven't made up your mind, whether you want to pursue a romantic relationship with her or not you need to do some serious thinking on that subject.
