That gets a Image

Also, Brock, you suck for hating "The Usual Suspects."

It's really weird hearing you guys talk about What Kate Does after having just watched The Substitute on Lost.

Roadie Brock turning off The Usual Suspects after 5 minutes is easily at 45 on the Gabrielle Anwar scale; that's just unacceptable. I spoiled my brother on this movie back in the day and he still watched it and loved it. The movie is that phenomenal. My favorite story about the movie (using the spoiler tag even though we're clear beyond the spoiler statue of limitations):

Spoiler: show
Gabriel Byrne was convinced the entire time they were making the film that his character, Dean Keaton, was Keyser Soze, and was genuinely pissed off when he found that he wasn't (I think he's still mad about it). Second best story about the movie was Benicio del Toro's rationale for Fenter's mumble-way of speaking: he realized that the character was just there to die so it didn't really matter what or how he said things.

Usual Suspects brought in a new perspective on your usual "motley crew caper" movies. Every action and all the nuances of each character have rationale behind them. Definitely a thinking man's caper movie! So good. Time to rewatch!

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about those Lost spoiler tags considering you guys are talking about old news!

If you like Jack Frost you'll probably like:

Uncle Sam
Desert Storm vet who was killed in combat rises from the grave on July Fourth, to kill the unpatriotic citizens of his hometown, after some teens burn an American flag over his burial site.

Deadly Friend
Paul is a new kid in town with a robot named "BB". He befriends Samantha and the three of them have a lot of good times together. That is, until Samantha's abusive father throws her down some stairs and kills her. In an effort to save her life, Paul implants BB's computer brain into Samantha's human brain.

Chopping Mall
A group of teenagers that work at the mall all get together for a late night party in one of the stores. When the mall goes on lock down before they can get out, The robot security system activates after a malfunction and goes on a killing spree. One by one the three bots try to rid the mall of the "Intruders". The only weapons the kids can use are the supplies in other stores. Or...if they can make it till morning when the mall opens back up

Chopping Mall is my personal favorite of the 3.

Jack Frost that's the movie with the scene where they corner a snowman into a furnace with blowdyers. That movie had a sequel? Was it as bad in a cheesy sub-B movie kind of good way as the first.

So, not a regular poster here, but I just thought I'd throw this out there since I'm pretty sensitive to spoilers and totally feel anyone who's had issues with recent episodes of the podcast. I write for a site called CastMedium.com where we do recaps of weekly podcasts and I happen to cover The Geekbox. Ever since Burn Notice has started back up, I've vehemently tried to avoid any sort of spoilers and have been posting timestamps on my posts for anyone who's in the same camp as me.

Similarly, since Lost has started I've tried to include timestamps marking spoilers for anyone particularly sensitive to the topic. Since Ryan probably doesn't want to do the extra work for the show notes, I don't mind providing timestamps for spoilers on this stuff, but I can't make any promises as to how fast I'll have a post up.

Anyways, if you want to avoid spoilers, you can check out my weekly Geekbox post on CastMedium.com which is posted within a couple days (at most) of the original podcast posting. You can find this week's episode recap in particular right here.

I've never seen Uncle Sam, but seeing Chopping Mall and Deadly Friend mentioned brings back some childhood memories. Fun flicks.

I enjoyed Ong Bak. It wasn't great, but the action was fun to watch.
