Hey Ryan, in the middle of listening to the episode now and decided to do a little research on "Syfy". Apparently its going to be pronounced the same:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/16/business/media/16adcol.html?_r=1&bl&ex=1237435200&en=e84038a56e5256a8&ei=5087%0A

And I also cast my vote for Summer Glau in Terminator, although I never thought she was anything to look at on Firefly.

I'm pretty sure everybody already knows this. Everyone's just mispronouncing it as a lark.

Guh, disappointing that the Watchmen contest got extended another week. Seems like you guys have been talking about the Watchmen forever. I thought this was gonna be the last time. Don't get me wrong, I love Watchmen, I enjoyed the film, but I'm completely over it. For now. At least until it comes to DVD. Or Solid Snake asks me to go see it again... Til then, I'm done.

I totally agree with you there about the IT crowd. I love looking at the set and seeing all the different comic book references and art toy stuff.

I would also suggest No Heroics, it's a show about the b list superheros on there time off. It mostly takes place in the 'capes' bar called The Fortress. It's a fun show, unfortunately abc picked up the rights to the show to make an American version and I'm pretty sure they'll end up ruining it.

That show is fantastic indeed. "Hello, IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Another great British comedy from the guys who made The Office: Extras. It's about the life of two extras, a really bad agent and a failed daily-soap star. Oh and famous people play themselves, a different one on each episode. Patrick Stewart was fantastic: "Wait. You don't have a girlfriend and you've never watched Star Trek?" "Yes?!?" "Oh my God!"

Oh, the podcast was great as well, by the way.

Major Motoko Kusanagi. The only sexy robot you'll ever need. Except that she's a cyborg but what ever.

eeeeehhhhhhhhhh! I love hearing about wedding stuff! Sorry, even we nerdy video game playing/comic book reading chicks love all that crap. So Ryan are you guys going to have any fun geek references incorporated in the wedding? my groom-to-be wants our wedding cake to be topped with the Joker and Harley Quinn instead of a bride and groom. However he does want the Joker pushing Harley off the cake...not to sure if that's a bad sign....hmmmm

Oh man, you totally had my dream wedding and you looked amazing! My thoughts on the whole wedding thing that it's a giant party to celebrate the couple, so it should reflect them and everyone should have a kick-ass time. We are hoping to have our wedding at this old movie theater that has these 24 hour horror movie marathons every oct and does midnight showing of cult and classic movies. It's a place that really shows our love for film. Of course now I'm wondering if there is a way to have them hook up rock band and play it on the big screen. Needless to say, geek it up Ryan! Street Fighter cupcakes! Mana martinis! Something!

Hey guys, great episode as usual! Another fantastic British show is Spaced - it is absolutely fantastic. On a more sour note - the controls in RE0 through Code Veronica are not THAT bad. Tankish, true. They are also not to difficult to master - it was really painful to hear you all talk about them when you clearly don't remember how they worked. Contrary to what someone said about them changing whenever you entered a room - they were the same all game for every single game (unless they maybe meant "reversed" by if you're going toward the bottom of the screen you push left to make the character move to the players right, while if you were moving towards the top of the screen pushing left makes the character move players left). They are simply relative to the direction your character is facing - push up and the character moves forward, down they walk backwards, left or right and they turn to THEIR left or right. It's not really all that difficult. Don't get me wrong, I don't think for a moment that the controls in those games are anything to write home about, but it's just gotten so old to hear everyone bitch about controls in any RE game. They are what they are so either play the game or don't and stop crying about them. I know one thing for sure - RE controls are superior to the hand contorting controls of Metal Gear Solid. To me, Nintendo is the only company that nails controls on every game that they make more or less. Can't wait for your next show and check out Spaced, you won't regret it.
