I'm at the point in the episode where you guys are discussing bad movies, and I believe you're mentally deformed if you think Tim Burton's Alice in Narnia--sorry--Wonderland is a good film.

I'm sorry, but I can't side with anyone who likes a movie that wastes Christopher Lee worse than Revenge of the Sith did.

I think the movie would've been all right if it ended differently. I seriously thought the theme of the movie was that Alice could decide what her destiny was. So....
Spoiler: show
...when she goes on and on about not wanting to kill anything, I totally thought it would end with her finding a non-violent (and more in character) solution to fighting the dragon thingy. Instead, she did exactly what the prophecy said. LAME.

I don't know what a 'Bromley' is, but if it illicits this kind of crazy, varied feedback by the mere mention of its name, it can only be all kinds of interesting for the podcast.

Is Bromley the guy that does the wacky accent on the Debriefing? If so he's amazing and he needs to be on The Geekbox like right fucking now.

First off, great show as always! Glad to hear Brock back on and that Harry Potter Land is so awesome...

And Scott Bromley on the Geekbox? Yes, please. Make this happen now.

I have questch. If Brom Scottley is on castpod about geeks, does that make him awesome? Thank you.

LOLZ. Thanks for the edit, Mr_eX, that's a lot better than mine!

Oh, and Ryan Scott, you won't be able to enjoy Mark Hammil as the Joker for much longer. He's stated that the next Batman game from Rocksteady will be his last performance, his curtain call.

As for Kevin Conroy, he WANTS to be Batman for as long as possible. However, the suits at WB want a new Batman for their animated features/games. Vocal Director Andrea Romano literally had to fight tooth and nail for his role in Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. So who knows how much longer we'll have with him past the next Batman videogame.

Pineapple Express was a damn fine stoner comedy. I understand not liking it, or not finding it funny, or even thinking it was bad, but making it the bar that you judge all bad movies? What the fuck? Brock, I demand an explanation!

Harry Potter. . . don't care. However, I do think the comparisons to Star Wars are interesting. See, I dunno about you guys, but as someone who was born in 1984 Star Wars was NOT on my radar. It took the re-release for me and other kids my age to start paying attention. Until then it was just some old movie series that looked silly. Harry Potter is gonna have to stay in the public consciousness if it wants to maintain what it has now. With no more books and the movies winding down I dunno what they need to do.

Well if Mark Hammil isn't going to be the Joker than Kevin Conroy can stop being Batman for me. If they do a reboot they need to reboot everyone and not half ass this shit. Man what i would give to hear Jon Hamm voice motherfucking Batman.

Do you not care because you've seen the films/read the books and just don't give a crap, or are you like Master Higgins and hate on things because of their hype alone?

I'm not a hater, I just have no interest. I've seen bits of pieces of the first movie and it didn't catch my attention, and the overall concept doesn't appeal to me. Family friendly fiction about a British boy going to wizarding school just isn't my cup of tea. Perhaps one day I'll actually pick up a book from the library, but it isn't a real high priority.

I can understand that notion; we've all had things that we've avoided because it didn't 'seem' like something we'd enjoy. I didn't think I'd like Star Wars before I saw it. But the important fact is, you haven't really experienced any of it. If you do ever start somewhere, start with the books.

Dear Geekbox,

Listener since day one and love the show but first time writing and just wanted to say thank you and I hate you guys for turning me on to watching Lost. Always hearing you guys and Gal talk about the show it made me want to watch it but since I never seen more then 20 mins of a show I always felt lost to watch the new shows. So now my Fiance and I are watching the whole series on netflix and so far we are loving it. We just made it to session 5 and like 9 episode in and was wondering if anything I should be worried about like some part of the show that will turn me away? Thanks again and keep up the great show even where there is just three of you guys.

Mike Fedor

P.S. I hate Kate and I know she does not die but sometimes I wish I just wish.

It's funny in real life I'm as indecisive as Karen when I have to make a decision that involves someone other than myself. Especially if it's a decision offered to me and not by me to another person.
However when it comes to games I find it easier to play a role or character although that's probably because I grew comfortable after having played table top RPGs and on RP threads on message boards for quite a bit of time.

Ok back from Universal Studios Orlando. For The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, I arrived at 9am, last Friday, and waited 1-hour and 20-minutes just to get in. Then I waited 40-minutes for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, the ride inside the castle. Just after I was strapped into the buggie, a voice over the loudspeaker apologized for the delay due to technical problems. Next a ride attendant helped me off the ride and escorted about 20 people off the ride to a waiting area. Waited an additional 30-minutes until the ride was functioning again.
However, the ride was worth it. Best amusement park ride that I have been on in a long time.
Total Wait Time = 2 hours and 30-minutes.
