The Superboy relaunch with Geoff Johns and Francis Manapul was awesome. That was the book I ordered from Comics Conspiracy. Francis Manapul is one of my favorite artists.

I, too, love Conner Kent, but Superboy's monthly book has been kind of...ehhh. I'm not a fan of Pier Gallo's pencils, and Jeff Lemire is a lot better on Sweet Tooth.

I will definitely check out Nonplayer this week. Hopefully, my store will have a copy.

Is Cinderella getting her own spin off series or is it just another mini series? I'll be reading either way but I hope it's a full on series.

Man, I remember reading Superboy back in the 90's when he was the leather jacket wearing clone with his horned alien pal from STAR. That was some stupid shit, I never really understood his powers. He used some sort of psychic energy or something right? Did they retcon that silly crap and actually make him more like Superman now?

Chew is an awesome book and i absolutely love it. However, i will not get Showtime just to watch it. Cable is expensive here in NYC and i already get HBO.

I loved SIP. Read like the first 40 issues before i dropped out of comics.

Realizing I still had a B&N giftcard, I pickled up volumes 1 and 2 of Chew. I just finished volume 1, good shit.

I read the first two issues of Chew last night and it looks to be a pretty solid book. I'd heard about it a few weeks ago on the Whiskey Media Happy Hour, but was only just reminded about it with the new podcast. My brother is on a bit of a graphic novel kick at the moment, so I passed it along to him as I think he'll enjoy it as well.

I think the thought it, "Well, we can lose 50% of the profit from Superboy if the courts settle not in our favor, or we can lost 50% of nothing if we just ignore the character."

He came back in the Final Crisis mini "Legion of Three Worlds" by Geoff Johns and George Perez, along with Impulse. Great book.

Yeah, too bad it shipped like three months late. By then, we already knew Conner and Bart were back.

It's just kind of annoying to have story lines spoiled and generally out of order because books miss their ship dates.

I don't mind Superboy (Conner) being back. The one Superboy I can't stand is Superboy Prime. I put him in the category with Hayden Christiansen's Anakin Skywalker. They both whine too much and are shitty characters.

He did make an awesome villain in Infinite Crisis, but yeah I agree. The best thing Superboy Prime did was get written out of existence.

But he didn't. His "Catcher in the Rye" whining ass is still around, and he's coming back in Teen Titans #98. Image
