I'm not the hugest Matt Murdock fan, but one of my favorite Daredevil stories is "Daredevil: Yellow" by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, another great entry in the Marvel Color books by the famed duo.

If we didn't talk Thor that would be odd. Mostly Marvel talk on this episode. Hope you like it.

Ultimates 3/Ultimatum was the beginning of the end of the Ultimate Marvel Universe. Ugh.

Also, Higgins, you're wrong: John Romita Jr's art on Amazing Spider-Man with JMS was quite well done.

That might be it. Ragnarok and Roanoke almost look the same. I've been corrected though and should be able to better tell the difference. :)

Thor was not as good as you guys are saying it is. I'd say Incredible Hulk was better.

You'd say that, but you'd be wrong.

Sorry, I had to get that out of my system... What do you mean? That ending was awful!

Also, I agree with all of your DD recommendations.

I was a little flabbergasted when they were talking about Avengers movies and Brock put Incredible Hulk at the bottom. I thought both Hulk movies were pretty dope, but Incredible Hulk seemed to have been tailor made to appeal to comic book fans after Ang Lee made Hulk all emo and shit.

And, he's not one of the Avengers, but everyone who doesn't think that Punisher War Zone is the best comic book adapted film of all time is just 100% incorrect. I don't think War Zone can be topped.

I really like Incredible Hulk, I think it's more rewatchable than Iron Man.

Also

Roanoke (as Brock pronounced it) was an extinct Algonquin tribe that were centered around N. Carolina. There are a lot of geographical landmarks in the area named after the tribe (a river, a valley, a town, etc). Roanoke was also the very first "American" colony that failed and was abandoned decades before the famous Jamestown colony. I have no idea how Brock thought "Ragnarok" was pronounced "Roanoke," especially since there's a prominent G there.

I think it's pretty funny that they put a spoiler warning on two things that didn't really need it(a cameo and an after the credits scene that most people wont see) but they didn't care about spoiling every other detail of the movie. Not that spoilers really matter at all for this movie, you pretty much know exactly whats going to happen before seeing it.

i think most people know by now to expect a short scene after the credits of superhero/comic book movies. every movie i've been to there have been less and less people leaving the theater right when the credits roll.

I always make it a point to leave the instant the credits start rolling because I don't want to encourage that kind of stupid shit.

I imagine the producers of the movie assume that if you bought a ticket you saw the whole movie, so leaving before you've seen the whole movie is really just a disservice to yourself.

Maybe the "Recommend Me Some Comics!" thread should be changed to a Reading List thread that can be updated, with Higgins and Brock's lists plus some listener-submitted ones? Personally when I listen to the podcast I geek out and think "oh, those are good, but I'd also read..."
Y'know, that kind of thing.

Also, have you guys thought about adding chapters to the podcast to make SPOILERS easier? Cause http://www.ehow.com/how_4937125_add-chapters-podcast.html doesn't seem that difficult. Hell, you could even add new cover art with pictures from the recording so Ryan Scott can't keep making that "This is great radio" joke.

Personally, discounting the Fantastic Four films (which frankly hit the lowest of the low fast):

X-Men 3 (Worst)
X-Men
First Hulk
Where I expect to put Thor
Second Hulk
Origins: Wolverine
Iron Man
Where I expect to put Captain America
Iron Man 2
Where I expect to put Avengers (Best)

Also I haven't even heard the podcast yet and am astonished someone could confuse that name for Ragnarök.

Oh and the Thor film is awesome.
