The Comedy Button: Episode 4

Postby Rydog » Nov 4th, 2011 @ 7:38pm

On this week's episode of The Comedy Button, we talk about a lot of porn. Hopefully that perks up a few ears.

Brian doesn't know who's he's messing with when it comes to Alan Moore. If someone where to try and strike him he'd turn him into a toad and eat him.

"Just walks into the bedroom with his cock ROCK STAR"

Comedy gold, actually made me laugh out loud in the middle of a busy sidewalk

Also more awesome podcast mess ups. Good to hear that the podcast mistakes and skips were not only gamespy debriefings mistakes! Now we just need to have one of the podcasts go up backwards or something.

But seriously keep up the good work, awesome podcast!

99 % sure he was talking about Rob Liefeld.

They both drew excessive amounts of pouches. I just thought he was talking about Jim Lee because he said X-Men as opposed to X-Force.

Liefeld's style is very much an aped version of Jim Lee's, which is why they may seem similar at a glance. And during his time at Image Lee probably had to fit within the "90's style" established by Liefeld that was popular. Lee may not be perfect but Liefeld has way more problems like ridiculous weapons and armor, tiny pupil-less eyes, constant scowls, tiny triangular feet or no feet at all (something Brian also mentioned), no sense of depth or perspective, and painful looking contortions of the human body.

Plus I bet Brian doesn't have enough comic knowledge to remember the difference between X-Men and X-Force. This is a guy who called Alan Moore's stuff dumb after all.
