Bad comic book dialog! This is the most memorably awful line I've seen recently.

Man, fuck Deadpool.

Also in one of the last Spider Island issues of ASM, Spider Man says "I've got an app for that and I wanted to fucking scream.

Speaking of bad comic dialog (and Jeph Loeb for that matter), I was looking through scans of Ultimates 3 recently and god damn.

It was a tad disorienting listening to Ryan, Charlie, and Toby while working out at the gym. Granted, the Spandex® ratio is about the same.

My worst dialog nominee has to go to Superman Prime (formerly known as Superboy Prime until DC was forced to change the name for legal reasons).

Both of our picks, Prime and Deadpool are kind of characters with a license to be written horribly

Still  at everyone's old-man and fanboy ranting against Green Lantern Animated, yet all three of them said the content was fine and they would keep watching.

Love that Toby, the biggest Joe Mad fan, shit on Avenging Spider-Man.

Reason why the Red Hulk exists: It's damn hard to find something interesting to do with the Hulk that Peter David hasn't done but still lets him be part of the Marvel Universe proper. So, you make a second Hulk to be out and about in the Marvel U so whoever's writing the Hulk can blast him off into space or have him hanging out in Brazil or whatever. Part of that self-contained thing you like so much.

Red Hulk is one of the worst creations in Marvel recently and another sad sign that Jeph Loeb has lost his touch.

I read a few issues of Jeff Parker's run, they weren't bad. Honestly Loeb's run wasn't as terrible as people who haven't read it say. There's an awesome issue where they do a psychiatric evaluation of Doc Sampson like that classic X-Factor issue. I think most of the ire comes from Loeb, Parker and Co. coming in to mess with Greg Pak's run.

Mostly, it's IGN calling it great in their reviews and on their podcast (which i think is pretty good).

I'm going to stop you right there because that's a straight up lie. You're really going to excuse the fact that General Ross has the bushiest moustache in the world and it disappers when he turns into the Red Hulk?

Didn't they explain it that it receded when he turned or something? Which is lame because I also wanna see a Hulk-stache.

On the topic of animated series. I liked the pilot of Green Lantern. I had seen the trailer before hand and understood the look to be Buzz Lightyear (space pilot adventures) in nature. Yes, the CG was probably chosen for budgetary and time reasons but most cartoons are especially if they have a franchise or movie to tie in to. I'm surprised nobody took issue with the canon issues. Although they didn't ruin i t for me why were all the Red Lanterns able to speak? And what point in time does this take place? They discover the Red Lanterns before the Yellow Lanterns? I do hope it's not a Voyager-esque run as well.
On the the animation part again. I thought Transformers Prime looked and was awesome. It's not Clone Wars but that's because Clone Wars' goal was to be the best CG for TV. It has Lucas's money backing it so it has less restraints. I personally enjoy 2D animation over CG for the most part. I wish Marvel had something going on right now. Where's my Earth's Greatest Heroes at? And Spectacular Spider-man was amazing!
