I really did not care for several things Eric Neigher had to say.

I hope they're right about PSASBR and the dad from Heavy Rain is in it. Shouting JASON could be the new Phoenix Wright shouting OBJECTION! from MvC.

I thought he was doing his best David Jaffe impression.

My problem with PlayStation All-Stars is that it's missing its All-Stars. How you gonna have that game without Solid Snake, or the kid from Ico, or the chick from Ridge Racer, or Cloud Strife and Sephiroth, or anyone from Tekken, or anyone from Onimusha/Devil May Cry, or Kiryu from Yakuza, or Lara Croft, or Spyro the Dragon, or maybe Jill Valentine or someone else from the first RE games, or The Prince/King of All Cosmos from Katamari? I mean, most of these guys obviously aren't from first-party or completely exclusive franchises, but they come from franchises that most people associate with the PlayStation brand, and got their name on one PlayStation or another. If Solid Snake and Sonic can show up in Smash Bros, then these guys should all be fair game in All-Star: Battle Royale. Shit, imagine playing as Pyramid-Head from Silent Hill!

If they got all those characters in there, I'd totally buy into this game - knockoff be damned. We all play the shit out of and love games that are essentially knock-offs, I don't see why this would be any different. If they can get some obscure characters into this like Jumping Flash, or Vib Ribbon, or Toro, or that kid from Boku no Natsuyasumi - that would automatically make this a timely preorder.

Edit: "No, the Sacramento Kings are the worst team ever." It's true. :( :( :(

How many Smash Bros characters are from non-exclusive franchises?

Also  @ implying Sony has all stars. Even the characters you listed are all D-tier at BEST.

Exaggerations aside, yeah a lot of those are probably B-tier, but how many of the Smash Bros are truly All-Stars? Are you going to tell me Olimar or the Ice Climbers are All-Stars? How about Diddy Kong? Falco? Who ever heard of Ike/Roy/Marth before Smash Bros? Where as, most of those characters I listed come from games that sold millions of units and have some pretty good nerd-cachet from people younger than us, where the PSOne and PS2 were what the NES was to people our age.

Spyro the Dragon is totally D tier. The first three games in the series were good and aside from the first two GBA games the rest was total bullshit/actively terrible and sometimes straight up broken with many fatal bugs in them. Now he's part of all the Skylander ridiculousness.

Basically after Insomniac Games stopped making them the series turned in to just total garbage and pretty much ruined the franchise.

Year of the Dragon (3rd Insomniac Spyro title) was the peak of that series and everything else was downhill from there with two small blips being the Season of Ice and Season of Flame on GBA.
Get outta here, Thunder Tits!

Wouldn't Samus, Zelda, and Princess Peach be Smash Sisters?

Smash Bros is sexist, you heard it here first. They should change it to the gender-neutral Smash Siblings.

It's also racist, as Fox and Falco aren't even human, nor are Link, Zelda/Sheik, Gannondorf, and quite a few others.

Who's the guy who took over the show? He was the loudest. Jeff Green should've had the main mic.

And the South Park game is being made by Obsidian. Take a guess at the genre.

Finally listening to this one. Whoever the guy was that took over the podcast talking over everyone and giving false information on almost everything he talked about, I hate him.
