Ryan - you are right, Adam's discussion about soccer and cricket falls mostly on dead ears, and the outburst he had of "Goallll!" was one of the single most annoying and painful things that came through my earbuds in years.

I have never heard anyone in the UK call football soccer, unless it was mockingly.

Ryan stuttering and stammering and non-descriptively explaining why he doesn't like Aisha Tyler's co-host of last year's E3. Hilarious.

"That guy is the worst person to ever live. He should never speak again."

OMG, no one knows who Aisha Tyler is? I bet Karen did. She used to host E! Talk Soup and is currently the voice of Lana in Archer.

Murdoch's evil Aussie empire can call it what they want - I've never heard anyone in the UK call it that.

I'm inclined to give the Englishman the benefit of the doubt here, but then and again, you admitted the other day to only having been to London like what, once? :P

That is EXACTLY how I described her to Ryan during E3!

Maybe once in real life, but many times in my dreams! Plus, I've played Professor Layton. I might as well have lived there my whole life.

Also, not to belabor the point, but this magazine has been published in the UK for over 50 years:

http://www.worldsoccer.com

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Socc ... agazine%29

Anyway, my main point was that the English invented the word "soccer," so they shouldn't complain when Canadians, Americans, or Aussies use it! ;-)

Adam, I'm talking about Fluffy, He admitted even though London is only a few hours away, he hasn't been in decades or something to that effect.

My wife's never been. Neither have my kids. I know people who've never been to Newcastle despite living a 45 minute bus ride away. That's the way this country is.

Did you watch it? He was the worst fake nerd I've seen in a long time. Super awkward banter between him and the main host. Really uncomfortable stuff.

His name was Mr. Caffeine and he is, in fact, the worst person that has ever lived.

Ugh, that guy was the worst. This year's guy was still bad but I don't think he was onstage the same amount of time as Mr. Caffeine.

We got like 3 emails from people saying they're unsubbing from the podcast because of the eating in this episode. I don't even remember anyone eating! Was it Fitch opening a bag or something?

Lolerbeez! You'd figure anyone still sticking around at this point would be okay with the eatbox.

Judging by the trailer, it looks one of the unannounced platforms for Natsume's "Project Happiness" is the Sony Wonderbook.

Thank god that song wasn't by Uematsu. I was getting really worried while listening to the trailer.

Listened to the podcast finally. It was pretty good! It was far more informative than the last one, and hearing Adam talk about his experiences on the other side of E3 was a nice contrast from the usual press-perspectives.

The "Goalllll!" was pretty ridiculous and unnecessary. What could have been a hilarious moment was soured by how loud it ended up being in my earphones. Had you guys turned his mic off, or had Adam stepped away from the mic to do his victory screams in the background, I would have probably laughed.

I wouldn't say that Vegas has too many distractions; LA is a much bigger city with a lot more to do. But then and again, I don't really have the gambling itch either.

I thought it was hilarious that Ryan Scott was complaining about the DC fighting game (especially lore justifications), but was totally okay with Metal Gear Rising, Raiden regressing into a total psychopath, and saying that MGR felt like "a natural progression" of the gameplay in MGS2. That last part really gets to me, considering one of the central narrative thrusts of MGS2 included the emphasis on non-lethal gameplay/courses of action. Even Raiden's HF Blade in MGS2, the player was given the option to flip the blade around and hit people with the blunt edge for a stun-effect that was just as effective (if not more so). I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but that game looks like a fucking travesty.
