Oddly timely and appropriate that the Comedy Button addresses the Brony phenomenon now, just days after my first exposure to the show, and The Hub in general.

Bronies are ridiculous human beings, but that said, it doesn't take much exposure to MLP to realize that it can be a lot more clever than a cartoon targeted at pre-teen girls has any right to be.

It's them geniuses who brought us Dexter's Lab and Powerpuff Girls, that's why. But yeah, Bronyism is fucking stupid. Show is funny and smart, yes. But I do not wish to own a pony, nor to preen it. I do not wish to "ship" them, read slashfic, or indeed any of these fucking idiotic parts of internet fandoms.

Why can people not just watch a show and be happy? Why did they have to do this, FFS?

I get that, but I'm pretty sure most Bronies are doing their thing in a very self-aware and ironic/hipster manner.

I do like MLP about as much as Adventure Time and Regular Show, but one thing I do find surprising and awesome is that the community makes some really good EDM music on youtube, I am fairly shocked at how much of the music made by the community there is on there, and how a lot of it sounds pretty good and doesn't sound like a garbage disposal like how most fan made music is like.

I wouldn't bet on that.

Belly Bros was a joke right? I mean no one, not even the most out of touch marketing executive, could right that with a straight face. Even more so when Bearys is right there!

Ryan's complete disgust during that segment was great

Ryan's lack of knowledge of superhero physics makes me sad, I've taught him nothing.
