Firefly is still my favorite sci-fi show. The first few episodes were slow thanks to FOX network screwing over the creators... but the rest can't be missed.

Higgins, do you have a portable recorder? If so i'll get you some soundbytes at the con, cuz I just know Toby is going to forget until I remind him. Or is there an IOS app that works well?

Wow! Now that is a response. Are you a Stocktonite? Are you ashamed to put it as your location? It's okay we can get you through this difficult time Kenzo.

Stockton is my hometown, and I'm pretty offended that you would say that about an entire city full of real people whose lives are deeply impacted by this. I'm all about making jokes at the expense of a crappy place like Stockton (making fun of Stockton is one of the favored pastimes of people from Stockton), but to say the city "deserves" it going a step way too far. As a person from Stockton who still has deep connections there, you might as well be saying the people of New Orleans deserved Katrina. It's completely thoughtless, ignorant, and fucking tasteless that it's disgusting. So fuck you one more time Brock.

But New Orleans DID deserve Katrina. All that partying and devilish debauchery... It was only a matter of time before those revelers got smote.

No, city or people deserve a natural disaster. You're "thoughtless, ignorant, and fucking tasteless" for even bringing something like that up to defend your "butt of a lot of jokes hometown." You said it yourself even the "real people" of Stockton make fun of Stockton. You need to grow a pair, and stop being such a pussy, because Stockton doesn't need you trying to rep them if you're going to get you panties in a bunch over something so pointless as a joke at the city's expense. It's embarrassing.

You do realize that Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, where a lot of that devilish debauchery takes place, wasn't hit that hard by Katrina.

Great show as always, fellas. Can't wait to hear the stories from inside and outside the big con. It's been a few years since the last time I've gone, but I'm not sure I'm cut out for it any more. The crowds are fucking bonkers now.

Also, way to keep it classy, Geekbox.net forums!

I'm a pussy because I know real people who are losing their pensions, their homes, their jobs over this? Because I know people who've been murdered in Stockton because of crime and poverty - which is only going to get worse with all the jobs and social services that are going to be lost from this? Yep. You found me out, I'm a pussy!!! I need to grow a pair and learn to deal with jokes? You'll note that I didn't get offended until you said "they deserve it". You see, it's funny because people who live in a shitty town obviously deserve what happens to them. I'd say fuck you again, but at this point, all I can do is  at your very typical Brock-defense argument.

The people of Stockton aren't losing their pensions, their homes, their jobs over my joke about a city, and they aren't the only ones losing those things. Everyone every where is hurting because the economy sucks, and it isn't getting any better anytime soon. Thank you though for the typical Kenzo response that didn't even address the real point; you are a "thoughtless, ignorant and fucking tasteless" person from Stockton.

Thanks for the typical Brock response - dodging responsibility for something by mindlessly reflecting blame right back. I'm not addressing the "real point"? You made a tasteless and offensive "joke." And instead of manning up to it, you brush it off with more dismissive jokes and insults. You're a dick, so I'm treating you like one.

This is my conversation with Kenzo. Now, I've had a couple "Sure Brock" moments so I'm calling it, this is a officially a "Sure Kenzo" thread.

lol @ "a couple"

Hmmm. . . . . I dunno.
"Sure kenzo" doesn't quite have the same ring as "Sure Brock".
While I don't necessarily agree with kenzo's passionate response, I'm just sayin' that for better or for worse "Sure Brock" is a catchphrase that doesn't lend well to modification.
