Between the Amazing Spider-Man and Marvel NOW, I predict a lot of Marvel hate in this episode.

We tried to keep it to a minimum, but that was even difficult to do.

I have an idea, maybe you could include a segment in which everyone explains why they love a current book/film/tv show. ;)

That was suppose to be the Random Pick, but Higgins hates on that too.

I will say that for once, Brock's arguments made sense (why Spidey wouldn't be a pro web-slinger). Also, I think it's kinda ironic that Higgins was super upset at this film because he couldn't overlook issues that ultimately resulted in nitpicking, but the same level of issues present in say, Prometheus, he didn't care about.

I'm beginning to think me and Higgins are opposites in terms of taste. Even more so than Brock, which is saying something.

because it can be interpreted as

1. bias for or against a publisher
2. poor or inconsistent taste

or both

I have a friend who loves the Green Lantern movie. He was really upset when I kept making fun of it while we were watching it. Don't mess with GL movie apologists.

All three: bias, poor taste, and inconsistent taste.

Saw Green Lantern at a drive-in last year as part of a 3 for 1 (Kung Fu Panda 2, Green Lantern and than Hangover 2) and man that movie is somewhere between terrible and agressively mediocre. I have to say it was pretty funny and suprising finding out that out of the three films the one that has Jack Black as a talking Panda was the best by far. Did not see that coming.

People being selective about their nitpicking, who would have guessed.
