I have to wonder if they remember Iron Man 2 very well, because that film felt like half Iron Man/Tony Stark and half S.H.I.E.L.D. If a movie studio did a Nick Fury focused S.H.I.E.L.D. movie, then I guess that would work.

But but... he told jokes!Konanda wrote:Personally I didn't get everyone being all sad about him dying because I kind of just figured him as just some pawn of S.H.I.E.L.D. since his development as a character was fairly shallow and in the end he was really just a plot device, I have no real opinion about him either way.

Can I assume you are referring to the Daniel Craig incarnation, and not the Woody Allen et al. one?
Daniel Craig's Bond portrayal in Casino Royal was one of the better interpretations of the character, but even a stellar performance by 007 couldn't save the train wreck of a film that was Quantum of Solace. Casino Royal managed to breath fresh life into an aging franchise, but Quantum of Solace knocked the wind out of it. After seeing the abysmal QoS, I'm not sure what to expect from Skyfall, but I'm willing to this franchise another chance.
