This podcast suffers when Toby and Omar aren't on it - they're a necessary counterbalance to the Brock.

It's hard to even imagine back to the days we suffered through this podcast without them.

kenzo, if you are going to comment on stuff you think you know about at least try to make a claim that is reasonable and not just unfounded rhetoric and hot air.

It was so nice to hear Toby and Omar give huge Brock a huge "Fuck you!" after he dismissed the TMNT movie as being "for seven year olds."

Did Higgins bring up the controversy regarding the DC Joe Kubert post? If so did he play the "it's only a controversy because it's DC" card again?

I counterbalance Ryan, Toby and Omar counterbalance me, and Charlie just rocks! Sounds like a good blend to me.

I think it's the fact that BEFORE WATCHMEN: NITE OWL is the most attention-grabbing thing written there. It looks like a a total plug. If you're going to mention his works, you could mention some of his other popular works plus the one that's being heavily promoted right now.

How the Hell did Vanilla Ice manage to sneak his way into both this week's episode of Good Job Brain and The Comic Conspiracy?

His little kid temper tantrums are great. The only way to calm him down is to put on TMNT.

I confess, sans the more recent CGI incarnation, I haven't really watched any of the Ninja Turtles movies. I've caught bits and a pieces of the series while channel surfing, but I've never actually sat down and watched one from beginning to end.

I vaguely remember being caught up in the whole colored bandannas are stupid train of thought, and that probably factored into me never seeing that first film. That, and the fact that I've got a few years on Toby, and when this film came out I was more concerned with college than TMNT. In retrospect, my objection to their bandanna colors was a rather naive reason for dismissing the movie. Naive or not, if the image crimson8199 had posted looked like this, I would have been slightly more inclined to give this film a chance back when it debuted. If Toby is that passionate about the first film, I may yet watch it.
