Wow I....didn't expect you guys to actually read what I wrote on air. Outside of thinking Richard Alpert is Ra(which I do believe), I pretty much cut and pasted the most convoluted stuff I could find from wikipedia.

Oh well, thanks for reading it anyway! I'll make sure to give you a shout out on my podcast to further spread word of your awesomeness.

edit: shouldn't be posting before I finished listening to the podcast haha dang. ^^ but yeah, it comes up a few times with my name, it comes from the random name generator of MSZone, which was a portal to play Age of Empires multiplayer, it randomly generated KindGalaxy so from 1997 that's been my internet name. A few times when Home first came out on PS3 my wife would take the mic, and I'd go in as 'KindGal' and we'd play some pranks on the people in there, get some guys to goto the apartment level and then I'd take the mic and talk in a deep voice.

I guess mine didn't come across as being completely convoluted for no reason very well. Oh well, it was pretty entertaining listening to Ryan read it and simultaneously hearing everyone thinking "WTF?"

#2 on the hierarchy- undecided as to whether that is a good thing or a bad thing.

re:Better Luck Tommorrow- John Cho a.k.a. Harold is in this movie. He plays the private school kid that hires the gang to rob his parent's house.

Great episode as always.

Something that always irks me. "Kumar" a.k.a. Kal Penn is technically Asian too. He's Indian.
He actually works for the president as associate director in the White House Office of Public Liason now.
How awesome is that?

You aren't too late on Kings, Karen! It's all on Hulu :) Episode 5 airs tomorrow. So it's not too much to catch up on, although the pilot was a 2 hour special (1:23 on Hulu). But it's worth it :) Great show.

I haven't heard it yet, but in real life, it lasted for like 20 minutes. I almost died. It was really, really bad.

Ryan, to be fair, "Whatever Happened, Happened" had to establish the stuff that you guys speculated from months ago. If they didn't bring it up, you would still be complaining that they left the situation hanging.

You're probably disappointed that it was as obvious as you thought, but there IS another type of audience watching the show, the same type that watch Grey's Anatomy or Desperate Housewives. Remember that Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse, and the rest of the writers have to cater to both the hardcore fans and the casual viewers that don't go on message boards to speculate theories.

It was a filler episode, but there have been worse (see "Fire + Water" and "Stranger In a Strange Land").

Another great show as always, Ryan!

Happy Belated Birthday, Master Higgins!

Send me some cookies, Karen!

Stop hating fun, Fitch!

Show notes:

1) I am NOT looking forward ( o_O ) to more forced insomnia, thanks to Freddy "Rorschach" Krueger and the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot.

2) Dwayne McDuffie's run on JLA is decent, but it is also shameless self-promotion of his own Milestone Comics characters.

3) I love Jim Lee (supporting my R.O.K. peeps!), but that guy really needs to finish All-Star Batman and Robin (not because I think the book is awesome, but I just want it to finish, I'm a completionist). I honestly don't think he will pencil another monthly book until the DC MMO he's in charge of is finished.

4) I can't wait until the giant pot smoking sea turtle is revealed on the finale of LOST!

Yeah, seriously, Ryan's laughing fit lasted forever. He needs to release an unedited version of him trying to read this. It goes on for a long, long time.

Hahah, I guess that kinda says something about the people who really pitch these kinds of things as believable theories. I've seen more insane ones that people were serious as a heart attack about. Lemme see if I can dig up the "It's all happening in Locke's head as he fries in the electric chair, cuz he's a convicted murderer and all the characters are aspects of his personality" one that I always use as my favorite example. EDIT: Here it is. Seriously, this thing is SIX-THOUSAND WORDS of insane.

Also: Yeah, god, that laughing fit seriously lasted about 6 or 7 minutes total. You don't want to hear that. Or maybe you do, but, well, you're crazy. :)

Great episode! The length of it made me enjoy rackng leaves in my yard, although I wanted to play some Mirror´s Edge and Dragon Quest IV.

Also, while reading the various posts about Ryan´s death laughter, it would be cool if you guys could do a "Pree show" just like the 1UP Yours-guys used to do for a while. Maybe the Area 5 guys could lend a hand.
What a horrible night to have a curse.

Glad my LOST theory got such an "awesome" reaction  but the best part of my theory wasn't mentioned, Jon Gries who plays Uncle Rico is the actor playing Ben's Dad on LOST.....

Secondly, my name isn't a "hemorrhoids" reference Master Higgins, its a Tremors reference :) lol

Enjoyed the show, keep 'em coming! 8-)

That was a pretty awesome episode. All the talk that you guys do really makes me want to get back into comics, though i have no clue where to start. Guess Ill check that other thread to figure that one out.

Cant wait to hear next weeks episode in regards to LOST. Was a pretty good episode this week. One question, how come the show isnt usually done on Thursdays right after LOST airs? It would be cool to get instant feedback from the current week's episode.

Hold up now. Granted it doesn't look good for either show, but neither of them have been officially canceled yet. Kings has been moved to Saturday nights for the rest of the season, which, while a tacit signal that you won't be returning for Season 2, at least means they'll get to finish their run of episodes. And while Dollhouse continues to struggle in the ratings, its a Friday night show, and everyone struggles in the ratings that night. Strangely enough, being on Friday night might actually save the show (for now, at least) because the expectation of ratings isn't there; if Dollhouse were airing any other night Monday through Thursday, I'd bet you it would have already been shelved. But its alive at the moment.

The realist in me agrees with you that both shows will very likely be canceled sometime soon, but right now, I still think its a bit presumptuous.

Ok...now you guys are eating cookies. Seriously you're making an "audio" podcast. I'm begging you please eat off mic. Is it just me??

Can I just say that this guy is fucking nuts and that I fully condone and support more snax consumption on the air?

Next week try smacking extra loud on some Jolly Ranchers. That always seems to annoy my friends.
