This is kind of the general pattern of our week regarding podcast prep. Not set in stone, just a general glance:Tuesday & Wednesday:
suggest possible topics to each otherThursday:
decide on a topic, then I make a shared outline/brainstorm document to figure out structure and themes. People start jotting down their ideas and filling the outline out. This is to inspire each other but also to avoid duplicate information.Friday & Saturday:
We each research our own stuff. I usually use this time to beta test a quiz format or wording if I have a quiz.Sunday:
We record. Then I edit.Monday:
For me, the prep work is fairly simple since it's easy to read about things that are interesting. But editing is intense. Editing, out of all of this stuff, seriously takes the most amount of time. I am super duper slow.
