For some reason or another I read that and just picture some one getting sucked into the PC like freakazoid but instead of going threw your face just kinda smacks the screen sits there in shame.

Also, the forums basically don't get pimped on the CB podcast, and that podcast doesn't really inspire long-form thought befitting a forum.

I think it's more of the thought that the forums are specific to the geekbox podcast, because of the name, and because most of the active members are here because of the geekbox, not the comedy button or any of the other podcasts. The other podcast topics get more attention because they're really similar casts, and the content is more alike than the comedy button, which isn't really like any of the other podcasts here.

Word on the grapevine is that Ryan Scott is busy this evening, and I imagine he's the one who puts it up, so I bet that the episode is merely late and not missing.

I gave episode 23 a re-listen (last year's April Fools / GFW episode). Still fantastic. If anything it resonated with me more this year because last year I was just starting a new job and a year later it isn't going so well. I'm still employed but I can relate to what Shawn and Jeff were saying about starting their new careers outside of the gaming press.

Doesn't seem like there is one this year

Says the Japanese guy to the Pro-Korean Truckie about some random disputed island.

It's clear that the reference is more to the phrase "Dokdo" Which sounds like how Ryan Scott called "Shotgun" for passenger seating in a vehicle.

Tiger UpperCut, I do wonder if it was just a tease or a real thing, most people here are probably pumped for it but I can imagine their inbox from the droves of CB fans that are like 14-19 and like shit bricks when its more then an hour late on upload day.

oh my, did they drag you to the comedy button? ryan keeps trying to keep more people from each pod cast on the others but none of them ever seem all that willing on air to go up to sunnyvale.

Hah, no, but I can confirm the fact that Ryan Scott left his house and did something outside his normal routine. We talked about it on the Geekbox this week :)

so I needed new headphones! my old ones have been using for months and it was getting really hard to hear out of them... who knows how much nasty ear wax has built up in them!!

so thanks to the code word geekbox I got to pick these up!!!

Image

Image

I'm glad coz now I can go back to listening to podcasts/music on my iphone's lowest volume setting and still be able to hear!

that's the good part

bad part is the ear buds are rather big and uncomfortable and over long periods can actually kinda hurt. However Tweaked seems to be more about their inner ear buds so I'm hoping comfort won't be much of an issue if you get those instead. I prefer these tho becoz I listen at work and cannot risk drowning out outside sounds with my listening habits.

also the jack in straight style instead of L shaped. Not really a pro or con, just an observation (I prefer L shaped for gym headphones, thankfully I'm using these at work and not the gym).

but after the code I only paid $10 so no complaints here!! I'm definitely happy with them and hope that I will get a call from Rodney James Dio!
