That Sesame Street episode you're talking about, I remember seeing that too! Big Bird and Snuffy were at some museum and there was this little boy lost and missing his parents so Big Bird helps him. Turns out the kid is an Egyptian and his family has already weighted their hearts and are stars in the sky. So by the end they get the kid to the scale room and weigh his heart, it's Sesame Street so what do you think happens?
WOAH! Found it it's called Don't Eat the Pictures!
I also found more evidence to support Ryan's Fraggle Rock = Lost Connection with this Jim Henson created program.

How is it possible for anyone to not like Firefly? Master Higgins must have a brain disorder or something.

That Sesame Street movie scared the shit out of me when I was younger, especially the scene where they showed the "broken" statues. I can still remember crawling under the covers. Fitch gets the gold star this week - and the psychologist bill for stirring up the fucking haunting memories of my childhood.

Just finished listening to the latest episode. Was it my imagination or did the other Ryan keep referring to the DS as a gameboy?

I forgot who was talking about it, but the name of that podcast where a guy reads through the comics is: Tom vs. The Flash (formerly Tom vs. The JLA)

Don't feel bad Karen, I knew exactly what Sesame Street movie you were talking about. I remember Don't eat the pictures and Big Bird goes to China, I also think there was a Big Bird goes to Japan.

I love it when they make a reference to something completely out of left field. I remember that Sesame Street movie too. The cast of SS gets accidentally locked in a museum after it closes and Big Bird helps an Egyptian kid find his way to the afterlife.

Its been a decade since I've seen that movie. How the hell do these people know about it?!

BTW: "SlushooO" is also from an episode of The Kenan and Kel show in which a Bill Clinton look alike President stops by the store Kenan works at to purchase said drink.

FOR THE RECORD, YES! All Nintendo consoles are "Nintendo." All handhelds are "Gameboy." All Playstations are "Playstation."

Now I'm gonna go play Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for my Nintendo DS.

Good to hear that there are some sports fan out there, specifically Bill Simmons fans. I don't listen to a lot of podcasts, but among them are the Geekbox (obviously) and the B.S. Report.

I would also second the reading of Batman: The Long Halloween. It might be my favorite Batman story.

And finally, I call my DS a Gameboy now and again, and I don't think I'm THAT old. But who knows, maybe I am.

This is just a suggestion, and I am happy to be overruled, but you guys should pimp the forums a bit more, and a bit more directly. I mean, you mentioned the lost theories, and there is some lip service, but really put it out there that there is this great geek community. Maybe talk about some of the more interesting threads some more, etc. It would be great to see this place continue to grow.
