Give it a listen right here! Please Digg, etc. etc.

It's been a... uniquely busy week. Must get off the computer now before wife murders me where I sit.

Great episode, guys.

More Duke Nukem drama: Take-Two is suing 3D Realms, part of which is a demand for the game's source code (http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/58642). It's the tiniest sliver of hope, but maybe something could be salvaged? No, probably not...

Will listen tomorrow. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Star Trek. I personally think it's the movie to top this year, and possibly one of the best sci-fi movies of the last 5 years.

Shame the Lost season finale didn't make it in. You guys should have mic'd your living rooms during the broadcast so we could hear everybody say "Dude WHAT!!!???" I love the thought that, at the same time around the world, millions of people had their minds blown at the same time.

Great epsidoe guys and girls! I really liked the Star Trek discussion, though I would not have mind a spoiler-filled in depth discussion. I think this movie actually lost a lot of the Star Trek spirit (but other ST movies have before, Khan or First Contact weren't really diplomacy based, but still great Star Trek), but I really hope they bring some of it back in the next film.

Oh and it was really cool of you to talk about the Game Nights! For 360 gamers, just send a friend request to GeekboxClub on Live to get added to the list of players. We're currently talking about setting up small tournaments and usually (which means once thus far) play Saturday nights at 11 pm GMT.

Just wanted to say, that Maori is pronounced Mao-Re. Re like in return, Mao as in Mao Zedong. There's no real emphasis on the 'o' part of the word. Anyways, listening to this podcast as I farm my Plants vs. Zombies Zen Garden ^^

Hell yeah for crossword puzzles! Karen, I'm assuming that the crossword documentary you saw was Wordplay, right? As a fan of crossword puzzles (I'd say I'm a Thursday-level solver), I enjoyed that movie. Also, sudoku is a logic puzzle, not a math puzzle. There is zero math required to solve a sudoku. The fact that is uses numbers is irrelevant; they could be letters, shapes, whatever, just as long as there are 9 of them.

And Burn Notice returns Thursday June 4 at 9 pm (which is an hour earlier than in previous seasons).

Regarding what current game has been in development longest, hasn't StarCraft 2 been in development since 2003? I remember a thing about that. PLEASE HOLD WHILE I CONSULT THE INTERNET!

...

http://pc.ign.com/articles/790/790158p1.html

Development on StarCraft 2 began shortly after WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne finished production. For those who don't know, that means SC2 has been a work-in-progress since 2003.

I think SC2 may be the one. Unless of course expansions still being made for EverQuest (1999) counts as the game still being in development :D

Im in the same boat as Rydog. Never dug Trek cos of the fans and just saw it as a kitsch show but ADORED Star Wars.

Saw this film and just WISHED Lucas had the writing skills/vision/direction to make the prequels something good....

Im not gonna delve into the back catalogue either.

Finally I could tune in to a spoiler part of your show and not having to worry about spoiling a movie or a show. Interesting points of view about Star Trek and I pretty much agreed with the general consensus. As for being the movie of the year so far...man it´s a tough one. Both Star Trek and Watchmen blew me away but I just simply can´t decide just ONE.

Great episode overall! And a quick "congratulations" to Ryan's spot at GameSpy. I hope we will get to hear a lot from you on the Debriefings.

Please don't spoil the movie. =( I really want to see it, but being busy makes that hard. I understand that you guys do "spoiler warnings," but please realize how irritating is to try and find at which point the spoiler-filled discussion ends. I wouldn't mind it, however, if during your editing, you inserted a clip right before the spoilers saying "spoiler discussion ends at -insert time here-." That'd be nice.

Small suggestion: It'd be cool if you guys had a comic/comic series to recommend per week. Something similar to the "iPhone game of the week" on Listen Up!, I guess. I've been wanting to get into American comics since I've felt the quality of Manga being released here in America is declining, but I don't really know where to start. I'd like to know where the good/most recent reboots of popular or cool characters start. Thanks. :)

What happened to the Nvidia magazine Ryan?

Id like to hear more rants from you guys about comics and shows. I dont watch lost or read any comics but the best part of the podcast is when you guys go off on lame authors and Lost plots.

Until I listened to you guys, I never really thought of Garak being gay. Of course, now that I think about it, he didn't hook up with Zial (sp?) and he did start hanging out with Bashir and his boyish looks.

I think you guys should convert Ryan into a ST fan. Make him watch DS9 but start with Season 3. The first two seasons are only good once you've seen the transformation the characters make and the set up for the storylines.

And Master Higgins, that episode where they put the Chief on trial is one of my favorites. Mainly because it stars the lawyer who's in a Twilight Zone episode where he plays the judge and Meredith Burgess plays O'Brien's part.

I wish I could do nerdy puzzles. Guess I'm not Asian enough. Damn my mixed blood!

Now that Lost is done until early next year, you guys should catch up on Supernatural. Supernatural is one of the best shows on TV and yet no one ever talks about it.

I saw the guy who played Garak, Andrew Robinson, at a convention a few years ago. Someone asked him about Garak's sexuality and I thought his answer was fantastic.
(paraphrasing)

"I don't know what the writers had in mind with Garak, but when I played him, I always tried to make him neither hetero- nor homosxual, nor bisexual. I thought of him as being omnisexual."
