Very nice forums. However, they would be alot nicer with some music discussion :)

The Forum is great and all of the topics are fun to read through.

I think there should be a "View New Posts" button around the board index button.
There should also be a current events Discussion forum. I know that could be a hard thing to do but it would prove interesting.

If I see enough rabid demand for this stuff, maaaaaaaaaybe. I'm REALLY hesitant to delve into 'Off-topic' territory, because those types of subforums are always total train wrecks in my experience (anyone remember 1UP Non-Gaming Related?), and I'm not interested in moderating the frequent flame wars that I know they'll provoke. I've also always been of the mind that people patronize a forum to talk about the specific subject matter at hand, and 'Off-topic' flies in the face of that.

You can't have a forum with only 3 specific boards. What if I wanted to make a topic with an awesome story or something? Do I post it in the video game board? I guess I just don't post it?

A place where people can share stories about their life or post random miscellany would help us get to know each other better. It's just more social than sharing opinions of games, comics and TV shows.

I think a general nerd board would be cool.

I was just thinking about posting a thread about the dream I had about flying on a broomstick.. but there's no place for it. If we had a general nerd board, we could post basically whatever we want, while still relative to the site.

We've already had some figures talk in comics. I think it's fine to put talk of those in their respective media's forum.

Consistant Font usage or visual style.
As a graphics student these wacky font colors and lack of conhesive visual style is driving me nuts.
Especially the "Hell yea im online" thing that pops up when you're active.
It used to be just a little gold icon.

I used to run my own phpBB forums it's not that hard of a hack to change the font colors and whatnot.

Since geekbox has partnered with bitmob and rebel, it would be nice to have a single forum for all three sites. It would certainly help to increase the post count.

How about Forum titled "Tips to get Fitch a partner."

Seriously, Every time I listen to him go on about his Singles life I wanna scream "Lower your damn
standards man!" This part of the show while comical is also very annoying. I really think he could
use some of the listeners help.

Just a suggestion. Keep going for her Fitch!

Listen up,

I really don't care to hear about Fitch's love life. It took me long enough to find a special someone and I don't need to hear it all over again.

Let's maybe talk about more mainstream games. I like how you guys hit some Arcade games, RPG, PC and even iPod games but let's talk about the big ones, e.g., C.O.D M. F. 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Drake 2, heck, anything from E3. The broadcast was barely about E3 and never was in-depth. Instead you guys talked about vacation plans to London.

Television shows are great. Talk more about something other than Burn Notice. Geez, c'mon people. The show is okay but lead into something like True Blood and other edgy shows like Dexter. A little variety is great.

Here is what's funny. Every week seems like the same discussion yet I find myself not wanting to miss a minute. Am I waiting for a change or am I just as big of a geek than you guys?

Naw, my gamertag should tell you what I really am, Norman Fucking Osborn!!!

perhaps a bi yearly cleanout of the member count? cause we have nearly 2000 members now, about 75 pages worth if you look to the members list there are only about 10 pages worth of people who have posted more then 5 times, its kinda unnecesarry to have all those people, id rather be able to have a members list of people i know and talk to, not hundreds and hundreds of people who will never be back here after visiting once.

I am quite content that there are no images in the signatures. The only thing more obnoxious than a bunch of giant animated gifs clogging my bandwidth and making pages load slowly is the added scrolling involved when reading a thread because of giant animated gifs clogging the screen.

I like being able to stick mygamercard in my sig, and don't mind static images that are wide but not too tall, but left unchecked, images in sigs make forums FUGLY. The Xbox360Achievement forums in particular have some truly unwieldy avatars.

Maybe there is a option that lets you disable whether or not you could see sig images so people who dont like them dont have to be bothered but people who do, well can.

Yeah, that's a pretty standard forum option. Personally though, even with overlarge, obnoxious sigs, I still feel inclined to keep them activated for fear of missing vital information (such as ones gamercard, lol).
