It gets some points for the return of Karen. Not sure about Higgins' absence.

Oh snap! Rydog is talking smack about Final Fantasy 7!! ...Unfortunately, I don't think anyone really cares at this point. I mean, me mentioning it, here, took a lot of energy.

Joking aside, while it was my first Final Fantasy game, I never placed it on some pedestal of perfection, like most people my age.

Do you mean unlike most people your age?

I'm kind of *ughhhh*-ing at the prospect of these guys talking about FF7 again. There's simply nothing interesting left to say about the game anymore. They might as well talk about the dramatic climax of Bioshock or re-examine the finale of Lost.

Apparently they also talk about FFXIII so I'm imagining even more beating a dead horse hate train from people who haven't actually played the game. At least that's what I'm expecting from Ryan Scott and probably Brock Sager. Based on the topic right after it I imagine it's bringing up the old news (couple weeks back) about some of the characters being modeled in a Prada spring clothing ad for a men's fashion magazine seeing as the issue was for April 12th, so it makes it kind of recent news.

LovePlus is also in the show notes, which I imagine is because the cover story for Ray's latest issue of Scroll is LovePlus.

Eh, FF7 isn't that bad, it's not like some great fantastic game of all time, or even close, but not that bad at all.

On a similar note, having played FF3 on VC, that game isn't that good either. I wish there was a non-portable, non-shitty load time version of 6 so I can see if the re-release really is that much better than the original American version.

You can always borrow a good version of FF6 from the Internet.

As for FF7, the original Final Fantasy was the first one I played. Final Fantasy 2 (FF4) was the first one I played to completion on the SNES. I like the Playstation 1 era FF games just as well as the SNES ones.

A kickstarter type site for porn patronage could be a goddamn goldmine. Projects would be much smaller, wouldn't need anything asking for half a million dollars, just stuff like, say, an established internet porn star kickstarting her first anal scene for 10k, or like was mentioned on the podcast, someone getting together 25k for a SF2 porn parody. Hell, go even smaller, have super niche stuff just doing projects for a couple thousand. Every combination of race/size/shape/hair color is someone's ultimate gal/guy, and every activity is someone's favorite kink. I'm sure projects could get funded.

Listening to the podcast at work. Ray Barnholdt is godlike. Glad Karen brought up the cultural significance between something like Ace Attorney being released in Japan versus it's release in U.S.

Man, you guys would HATE my iPhone's photography folder. I have tons of programs, and more I no longer have installed.

High concept porn:

Citizen Came
1969
One Blew Over Her Cuckoo's Nest
Atlas Tugged
Conception
The Bornskank Retention

I got more, but that will do.

What internet do you live on where all of that stuff isn't already available for free? I have often found myself wishing there was more "jewish-looking girl" porn, but not enough that I'm gonna give some scum bags money to make it happen... You strike me as the kind of guy that actually has an account on one or more porn sites and comments on videos
