Why don't stupid fucking Americans realize that if your egg is brown it's overcooked? I love it when they do the half-moon fold and their egg disc cracks straight down the middle and they're like "oh yeah, that's perfect" dude, your egg is such a fucking dried out husk of shit it breaks in half like a Ritz cracker, and you call that perfect? I'm so glad I know how to actually cook an omelette. I am going to go make some breakfast, let's do this!

Literally just follow the directions. It's really easy and hard to fuck up. If you have a meat picked out already go for it, but IMO flank steak is the best.CrossXhunteR wrote:I picked up a package of Golden Curry medium curry mix. The local stores only seem to carry medium and mild. Will end up making that some point this week, maybe even tonight. Dakazu has already given tips on the curry and how to prepare the rice.
I call BS. IIRC you have a Sikh temple near where you live; there's no way you don't have Indian food. In fact...LiQuid wrote:I've never had curry either. Indian just isn't a kind of food we get around here. Milwaukee's all German, Polish and Mexican.
Bruh. Get the fuck outta ur house and LIVE A LITTLE. Also, not knowing much about a religion is exactly the kind of scenario that makes it OK to just walk into a place and just ask what's up.LiQuid wrote:So while you may call BS and technically be right, it's not an uncommon thing for someone who lives on the south side and works on the south side and very rarely goes downtown or to the northside to not have eaten at any of those establishments. We have one Sikh temple to my knowledge in all of the Milwaukee area that is real close to me but I don't know enough about Sikhism to start intruding on their services for free grub.
