I mean, you might be fucked too, but Kevin's actually fucked cause he needs Davis to lose this week and that's not happening.

I hope totoro sets your lineup and locks it.

Why? Who is Totoro to tell me who I can and can't play? Trying to help someone earn the final playoff spot could be seen as a legitimate strategy when my seeding is secure.

You're intentionally losing, so davis can possibly get into the playoffs without really earning it. Which seems like it should 100% be against the rules.

I'll just wait and see what totoro's reaction to this is. He's the commish if he's fine with it then whatever.

You guys really waited until the end here this season before you made me come in a commish it up.

My general preference would be for Liquid to set his lineup as he had the previous 13 weeks in order to give everyone else the same tough matchup that his team has been this season. That being said...

I'm not inclined to intervene here. Why? I've not set anyone else's lineup this season even when they've been inactive. For the most part Consequences' team has been a pair of free wins for most of the league and there were times when Kevin didn't set his lineup either. Is it against the spirit of it all? Sure. Is it against the rules? No. The same thing applies when teams rest players before the playoffs. Which is why we're doing the playoffs in weeks 15 and 16.

"But this is intentional" you might say. My response to this is that all instances of not setting your lineup are more or less intentional. You can set them in advance to account for byes. You do the same thing when you join the league with seemingly no intention of being active.

Also I'm not doing anything here because I can't dock any of you for a million bucks and draft picks. Because Roger Goodell is my homeboy.

Alright, lets see if I can convince kevin to bench his lineup to counter liquids benching.

Haha, hopefully kevin has more pride than me. I don't get why you're so mad, (I'm pretty sure) Davis winning doesn't effect your seeding at all. If you win you get 3rd, if you lose you get 4th, but you make it either way. The only thing Davis winning will do is fuck medot (and kevin's REEEEEEEALLY long shot, so not really), BUT if Medot still wins his game he still gets in, even if Davis gets a free win, provided he also beats the differential (Davis would need to score around 50 points more than medot this week, basically).

Everybody remains in control of their own destiny here... I'm just not going to be the guy who takes a poop on my friend and prevents him from making the playoffs. Davis has done a lot of work to get his team back in contention this year and honestly he has a pretty good chance of beating me even if I put my top men in.

I put in a lot of work to get all my wins. It's annoying to see someone just get handed one from the #1 team in the league.

Me telling kevin to bench his team could actually knock me out of the playoffs if I lose. GAM has a good team and has a good shot at beating me. Honestly it's a shame GAM isn't in the playoffs.

GAM has a 0% chance. What are you arguing for?

If I field a team and win there's a zero percent chance Davis makes it. If I lose, Davis still goes up against every other 7-7 team in the league and you and medot both have him covered soundly on points. Me fielding a team can only hurt Davis, but me benching my team doesn't give him a free ride to the playoffs.

Two teams this year have lost games to Tittsburg. Ex and GAM. IF I WERE COMMISH I WOULD BOUNCE YOU FUCKING LOSERS FROM THE PLAYOFFS ON PRINCIPLE! So if I were you ex I'd shut your yap and thank your blessings your fraud ass is even this far.

Just for the record, I don't care either way. Start your team, sit your team, eat a loss, screw over someone else, whatever. I ain't getting angry over fantasy football. Ever.

Pretty sure Davis would be whoopin my ass even if I hadn't benched everybody, and Medot is crumbling. Ex, does it count as Davis earning his win if he would have beaten my starters anyways?
