Call me crazy but, I think it's an awesome Geekbox.

Sure, I missed Jeff Green, and Dana Jongewaard is one of my favorite cohosts on the Girlfight podcast... but that's not the only reason why I liked it.

It sounds like they are all together in a room having a good time and sharing a laugh; something I don't often hear on gaming podcasts, because they all follow the same template these days.

In my past experience, I can say that it's hard to record on the road while lacking sleep, real sustenance, and your normal recording equipment. I appreciate the effort it took to get everyone together to record and put out a great show, especially when they've all had a day of running around like crazy and a night of trying to meet deadlines.

Fuck yeah. hilarious show with enough adult humor to go over the kids heads. Ferb is great as the Silent Bob character speaking only when something needs to be said. And Doofenshmirtz is an awesome "bad guy".

I enjoyed it, it's always good to hear different people on the Geekbox & I think a rotating fifth chair would keep the show fresh*. I've always liked Dana whenever she made guest appearances on GFW radio & will go check out Girl Fight.

$150, yeah it's done. Move isn't gonna fare much better. It's not that much cheaper considering you gotta pick up the Eye, a Move lolly, and one of the nunchuck things, and at least that has application for actual video games and not just casual pap. I still don't see either catching on. Sony and MS have spent the last five years chasing a fad.

That's a misconception. Besides the fact that I'm sure a majority of games developed will probably only require the wand, you can just hook up an existing dualshock instead and use that one-handed, since the nunchuck is basically it's own controller and a dualshock cut in half.

Half the time when I play an RPG, I do it one-handed with the other on a soda or some food. Plus for someone like me who still has a sixaxis, those those things are as light as air. Obviously this isn't something everyone is going to think of, and Sony would like people buying as many new peripherals as possible... but for me the price it isn't a deterrent from buying a move since I'm afforded a little flexibility and options.

I do apologize for the audio quality -- we were running on pretty low-end tech, all things considered (a handheld voice recorder and a field mic) -- but I figured it’d be better to do something a little wonky than skip a week. This was, in fact, the best I could do with a jam-packed work schedule and limited equipment (no way could I have shipped my mixer and mics down).

I know it wasn’t the "standard" Geekbox, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway. I definitely did.

I actually would have no problem doing that to save a little bit of cash, but I'll probably never buy any move stuff regardless. I have to save all my cash for the Rock Band 3 compatible Squier guitar. If that fucker is under $300 I will totally buy it.
